Thursday June 28
7 p.m. – 9 p.m
Steelworkers Hall, 25 Cecil Street
At the June General Membership Meeting (GMM) we will be discussing how the GTWA can best participate as an organization in the student movement and solidarity organizing that is taking place in Toronto. We welcome motions on this subject and members can make motions from the floor after the discussion.
We will also be planning our participation in the July 1 Pride parade and using some of the time of the GMM to make signs for it.

The Feminist Action Committee of the GTWA has created two postcards to highlite the affects of austerity on women.
Who suffers from these cuts? Not our employers. Not McGuinty. Women - and children - are the ones taking the hit over and over again.
Postcard 1: The provincial budget - like the municipal budget and the federal budget - not only ignores the current needs of Ontario's children - but also downloads more costs onto them.
